About Recreation Classes at Building Blocks

The Loma Prieta Community Foundation hosts limited afterschool programs in the Building Blocks yard.  These programs are generally run by outside companies that use the BB yard to offer their programs.  You can register for each program through each company, not through LPCF or Building Blocks.   Your child does not need to be part of BB to take part in the afterschool programs, the age range of programs varies from preschoolers through elementary school kids.

Mondays- Sports Camp

Tuesdays- Tiny Techs Club

Wednesdays- (gymnastics cancelled until further notice)

Thursdays (every other week)- Bookmobile

Sundays- Kids Yoga PAUSED

YARD POLICY:   Families are welcome to visit with friends and play in the yard for short periods of time after classes, as long as there is a member of the LPCF-Building Blocks Steering Committee present.  The yard and sandbox must be cleaned and returned to pristine condition when everyone is done.  Please consider making a contribution to LPCF Building Blocks for this privilege!

Kids Yoga

CLASSES ARE PAUSED UNTIL 6 children are registered

please email Kendra  kendrazanotto@gmail.com if you are interested in this program.

Luma's Kid's Yoga classes offer a creative mix of yoga, music, art, literature, non-competitive games, and appreciation of nature. Classes are age-appropriate and encourage the development of the whole child. Classes include guided visualizations and deep relaxation to promote a sense of calm and well-being. By learning how to use yoga to both relax and energize themselves, students gain a sense of empowerment in their bodies. Join us at Building Blocks

Valley Sports Camp

Grab a friend and come join us for some fun!  Preschool students will spend an exciting camp session playing and learning a variety of sports that focus around sportsmanship, teamwork, building friendships, and of course, FUN!  For the Multi-Sport program, camper favorites include Star Wars, Basketball, Soccer, Castleball, and many other popular games!  Each week, campers will also learn about a new character building trait (integrity, honesty, sportsmanship, etc.) and have an opportunity to put it into practice during the camp sessions.

Our Fall Session for Building Blocks Preschool at Loma Prieta will be 6 weeks long.

Rainy days will be rescheduled at a later date.

We also prorate the session if you sign up after the first day of camp - the cost is prorated based on the number of weeks left in the session.  Join anytime!
